My travel to Fargo, ND this June allowed me to complete my quest to visit all 50 states.  And what better way to do that than by seeing a new stadium and a baseball game.

The Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks play in the American Association of Professional Baseball, an independent baseball league.

As of my visit in June, 2013, the Redhawks have played 18 seasons, have had 15 playoff appearances, 12 division titles. and five championships.

Here's the entrance to the ballpark.  It is located on the NDSU (North Dakota State University) campus.  It is about 1/2 mile (maybe a little less) from the Candlewood Suites, very much within walking distance.  The stadium is shared with the NCAA North Dakota State Bison

The playing field.  Well maintained.  The red and white striped tent and red umbrellas and tables beyond third base is the Budweiser Beer Garden area.  I didn't stay there very long as it is the only smoking area in the ballpark.

There is one level of seating plus six sky boxes; three on each side of the press box.  It definitely was a very full crowd this game.  On Saturdays, a promotion is $2 for Red Solo Cup 12 oz domestic beer.

The scoreboard.  The Redhawks won this game, 4-3.  You can see them congratulating each other on the video board.

The building beyond the scoreboard is the Fargo Dome.  The Fargo Dome is the indoor facility where the NDSU Bisons play their football.
